Prime Rib Sliders with Provolone & Grainy Mustard Aioli

These two-bite snacks are fun for entertaining, or anytime really! Using shaved Prime Rib makes it so easy to prepare as many sliders as you like. Pairing the tender beef with the sharp flavours of the aioli, the sweet bun and topped with melty Provolone. Yum!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 Packs of Shaved Prime Rib
- 4 Slider Buns or Hawaiian Mini Rolls, halved
- Grainy Mustard Aioli
- Provolone Cheese, sliced and cut into squares
- Crispy Shallots
- Parsley, chopped
Grainy Mustard Aioli
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp Grainy Mustard
- 2 Tsp Roasted Garlic
- 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 Lemon, freshly squeezed (to taste)
Crispy Shallots
- 3 Shallots, peeled and sliced into rings
- All Purpose Flour, to coat
- Salt, to taste
- Vegetable oil, for frying
PREPARATION
Grainy Mustard Aioli
- Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl and mix well to combine.
- Adjust the seasoning.
- Store refrigerated until ready to use.
- Keeps well for a week in the fridge.
Crispy Shallots
- Separate the sliced shallots into individual rings and dust with flour to coat.
- Heat some vegetable oil in a small pot, and carefully fry the rings in small batches until golden.
- Transfer the fried shallot rings to paper towels and season right away with salt.
- Allow to cool, and serve.
- These are best served right away, but will keep for a day.
- Transfer to a sealed container or ziplock lined with a paper towel.
- In a pinch, the store bought crispy onions work great as well 🙂
ASSEMBLE
- Arrange the buns open faced on a tray and toast in the oven until golden brown.
- Spread some aioli on each bun.
- Add a few slices of cooked prime rib to each bun and top 2 slices of Provolone cheese.
- Bake in the oven for a few minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Top each with some crispy shallots and chopped parsley and serve!
