WHY CHOOSE ORGANIC CAVIAR?
Organic caviar tastes better, is safer to eat as it does not contain harmful chemicals, and is better for the environment. We must make a change towards safe and sustainably produced foods.
Our Fraser River sturgeon are ethically raised in land based water recirculation systems re-using 99% of pristine cold ground water collected from the surrounding mountain lakes and streams of Sechelt in beautiful British Columbia.
We feed our sturgeon fish meal and fish oil from sustainable sources along with certified organic wheat. Our caviar is FREE FROM antibiotics and added hormones. We simply us pure Canadian salt to naturally bring out the flavours of North America’s only certified organic caviar Northern Divine.
Enjoy the buttery, nutty fresh ocean flavour and delicate clean finish of our award winning world class caviar Northern Divine.
Caviar Storage and Preservation:
- Caviar should only opened right before it will be consumed.
- Unopened caviar can be refrigerated for 15-20 days.
- Refrigerate the caviar but do not freeze (it may burst the eggs).
- Store fresh caviar at 26-34 degrees Fahrenheit. Caviar stored at this temperature can last 1-4 weeks and the high-oil content protects it from freezing at this temperature.
- If you are unsure of the temperature of your refrigerator, you can store the caviar in the fridge packed in ice (changing the ice as it melts).
Opened caviar should be tightly covered with plastic wrap and eaten within 1-2 days.
