Intercity Custom Meats - Similar to the Porterhouse Steaks, the Certified Angus Beef® T-Bone Steak incredibly well-marbled and consists of two incredible steaks in one - the strip and tenderloin, but is more economical. When cooked, the T-bone adds robust flavour to both steaks on either side.
To be considered a T-Bone steak, the tenderloin is 1/2 - 1 1/4 inch in diameter. If the tenderloin is larger than that, the steak is considered a Porterhouse steak. T-bone steaks are cut closer to the front of the shortloin, therefore containing a smaller section of tenderloin.
