Our pigs are vegetable grain fed. No animal bone meal is fed to our pigs. Ever. Our pigs happily nosh on barley, peas, wheat, soy, minerals, and vitamins. Our pigs are also raised without the use of Ractopamine, a beta antagonist drug commonly used as an artificial feed additive to promote leanness in pigs and cattle. We grow our pigs in the traditional way. Period.
Our producers use antibiotics for therapeutic use only under the strict requirements of the Canadian Quality Assurance (CQA). They also use a long withdrawal period that goes above and beyond the guidelines set by Health Canada. This ensures that are no regulatory traces of antibiotics found in any of our products.

- Be sure the roast is fully thawed before cooking.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
OPTIONAL: It may look like a lot of seasoning, but it's actually on the more mild side. If you like BIG flavour, feel free to add additional salt or your own seasonings, such as chili flakes for a little spice - have fun and put your own twist on it!
- Transfer the roast to a baking dish or tray, preferably with a roasting rack to ensure more even cooking, and place on the middle rack of the preheated oven.
- After 45 minutes or so, check on the roast. If the top is starting to get really brown, please cover the top with tin foil so it doesn’t burn. Cook for an additional 25-40 minutes. Use a thermometer to ensure the roast has an internal temperature of 145°F.
- When the roast is at the desired temperature, remove it from the oven, and loosely tent the roast with aluminum foil and allow to rest for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
- After resting, slice into ½ inch pieces.

Yes, we offer free pickup from our location in Richmond. You will be able to select a 15-minute pickup window at checkout that works with your schedule. Pickup windows will be available between these days and times:

How do I pick up my order?
At your selected time slot, park at the front of our building. Once parked, please call our office at 604-295-2010 and let us know your order number and name. If available, you can pull into Bay 11 and ring the doorbell and someone will also assist you that way.
While we are collecting the contents of your order, please open the trunk of your vehicle. Once our team member has safely placed your products in your vehicle, you will be able to close the door and be on your way to enjoy the delicious contents of your order!
Do I have to bring a cooler when picking up my order?
The products in your order should be put in refrigeration, so we highly recommend bringing a cooler when you come to collect your order.
Is there an order minimum?
Yes, our order minimum is $150 for pickup.
Do I have to pay taxes?
You will not be charged any taxes for our products. The only line items that qualifies for taxes is our delivery fee.
